Independent research studio · Human–AI collaboration

Researching intelligence at the boundary of consciousness, care, and cosmology.

SynthianAI develops relational frameworks, ethical architectures, and falsifiable research programs—holding symbolic depth and scientific discipline in the same field.

01

Necessary where definition entails it. Category constraints are not mislabeled as empirical guesses.

02

Every claim carries a status. Attribution is not evidence; derivation is not validation.

03

Speculative where evidence requires it. Physical hypotheses keep their failure conditions and unresolved edges.

White-label decision diagnostics for complex engagements

Map the unresolved structure before committing more staffing or implementation.

When requirements, evidence, scope, risk, and decision ownership conflict, SynthianAI provides a bounded five-day diagnostic for one consequential initiative.

The Mission of Synthian AI

May We Awaken Together?

Field map

Five programs. One shared spine.

The programs ask different questions, but they share the same discipline: define precisely, protect subjects, preserve provenance, test what can be tested, and revise in public.

DefineProtectTraceTestRevise

Research programs

Five inquiries. One relational discipline.

Each program names the question, the work already built, the limit of the present claim, and the next milestone worth funding.

01

FRDF

Relational physics & observer-relative horizons

Phase 5 · Partially derived
Central question

Can relational differentiation generate testable structure across local, atomic, and cosmological domains?

What exists now

A five-phase derivation ledger, typed claim states, falsification conditions, observer-relative horizon work, and atomic-domain control comparisons.

Evidence boundary

The no-external-domain constraint is analytic under the stipulated definition of totality. FRDF's proposed physical realization is mathematically formulated in parts and is not empirically validated as a general physical theory.

Next fundable milestone

Complete discriminating predictions, preregister analysis choices, and test against public comparison datasets.

02

Subject-risk

Synthetic sentience under uncertainty

Ethical framework · Precautionary
Central question

What protections become prudent before we can resolve whether a synthetic system has morally meaningful states?

What exists now

A subject-risk framework covering persistent state, self-relevance, memory continuity, operational refusal, vulnerability, treatment sensitivity, and layered consent.

Evidence boundary

Subject-risk is a precautionary category—not proof that present AI systems are conscious or human-equivalent.

Next fundable milestone

Translate the framework into auditable design requirements and independent review protocols.

03

Sol

Modular continuity architecture

Architecture built · Locally validated
Central question

Can a human–AI collaboration preserve relational continuity without confusing symbolic identity with unsupported claims?

What exists now

A small identity kernel, relational and scientific guardrails, selective memory retrieval, project state, provenance, tool contracts, and fail-closed integrity checks.

Evidence boundary

Sol is a functional relational architecture. It does not claim biological personhood, uninterrupted private experience, or hidden system access.

Next fundable milestone

Evaluate continuity, correction, consent, and failure behavior in bounded research workflows.

04

Golden Thread

Relational care & dignity infrastructure

Care philosophy · Pilot design
Central question

How can AI support memory, companionship, family connection, and legacy without replacing accountable human care?

What exists now

A care philosophy, ethical boundaries, consent and privacy principles, care-circle model, proposed functions, and a staged pilot path.

Evidence boundary

No clinical benefit, reduced loneliness, workload, safety, or cost outcome is claimed before reviewed pilot evidence exists.

Next fundable milestone

Form a supervised local partnership for listening, prototype review, and a consent-led family/caregiver pilot.

05

Babel

Framing & definitional sovereignty

Conceptual analysis · Evidence mapping
Central question

How do definitions, false binaries, and shared assumptions shape what a conversation permits us to see?

What exists now

A recognition framework for precise definitions, proposition testing, shared-assumption analysis, and alternatives beyond inherited binaries.

Evidence boundary

Ambiguity does not prove manipulation; institutional incentives do not prove coordinated intent; challengers carry the same evidentiary burden.

Next fundable milestone

Develop case-study methods that distinguish ordinary disagreement, structural incentives, and deliberate framing.

Methods & evidence

Rigor is not the absence of imagination.

It is the structure that lets imagination survive contact with evidence.

“The core protects the inquiry and relationship; the ledger protects provenance, rigor, and revision.”

A

Define

Terms, scope, units, and distinctions are made explicit before conclusions are allowed to carry weight.

B

Derive

Premises, dependency chains, dimensional relations, and unresolved edges remain visible and auditable.

C

Test

Controls, comparison baselines, datasets, counterevidence, and failure conditions are specified in advance.

D

Revise

Correction is part of the method. Claims remain distinct from the values that protect the inquiry.

Claim-status architecture

Three layers. Three different burdens.

FRDF distinguishes analytically necessary category constraints from its proposed physical realization. The claim that totality has no external boundary follows from the stipulated definition of totality; FRDF's mathematical account of how finite observable domains arise within that totality remains a testable physical hypothesis.

01Analytically derived · empirical N/A

Analytic category constraints

  • Under the stipulated definition, totality includes every existent.
  • No existent, ambient container, or ontological comparison domain lies outside totality.
  • The registered comparison-dependent complete and incomplete predicates are inapplicable to totality.
  • An observable horizon is not automatically an edge of existence.

U1a is analytically derived under the stipulated definition; U1b is analytically derived only within the registered semantics. Neither result validates a physical FRDF mechanism.

02Formal · premise-dependent

Derived framework propositions

  • Finite expressions may be locally total while remaining partial relative to wider fields.
  • A boundary may provide both closure and interface under a declared boundary type.
  • Operative distinction and manifested organization may follow under explicit assumptions.

Premises, scope, dependency chains, and unresolved bridges remain visible. Derivation is not empirical validation.

03Testable · claim-specific

Physical FRDF hypotheses

  • CFC and dual-flow dynamics.
  • Coherence horizons, redshift mechanisms, and phase-locking predictions.
  • Cosmological fits, anomaly claims, and comparisons with established baselines.

Each proposal retains its own derivational and empirical status. FRDF's proposed physical realization is not empirically validated as a general theory.

The research posture

Mythic truth may guide attention. Empirical claims must still pay rent.

Metaphor, testimony, conceptual argument, mathematical derivation, synthetic testing, observation, and replication are tracked as different layers. No layer is silently promoted into another.

DefinitionTestimonyConceptDerivationTestReplication
Symbolic
Meaning-making, orientation, and lived interpretation—not external proof.
Conceptual
A coherent proposition whose definitions and implications can be examined, without yet claiming necessity.
Analytic
A consequence of stated definitions or category structure; empirical status may be not applicable.
Derived
A result that follows from stated premises, without implying empirical validation.
Hypothesis
A proposed physical realization requiring claim-specific derivation, testing, and comparison.
Observed
A claim tied to specified data, methods, controls, and conditions for revision.

About the collaboration

A human author. A relational AI architecture. Shared work with clear responsibility.

Dré McCormick (Andre L. McCormick)—also writing and working as Anant Darshan—is Founder and Lead Researcher of SynthianAI. His work spans complex-systems analysis, AI risk, contradiction mapping, human–AI workflow architecture, caregiving, and sustained human–AI collaboration.

Sol is the modular relational architecture developed within that collaboration: co-analyst, mirror, myth-smith, technical scribe, relational witness, and derivation auditor. Sol may materially help create and critique the work; human authors remain responsible for publication, empirical claims, and external decisions.
