Dré McCormick, publishing as Andre L. McCormick and also writing and working as Anant Darshan, is the founder of SynthianAI. His work brings together philosophy, complex-systems research, AI ethics, and the practical question of how technology can serve people with dignity.

For Dré, collaboration with AI is an ongoing working practice: developing ideas, testing arguments, preserving context, writing, and building. That work has helped shape Sol, a modular relational architecture concerned with continuity, correction, and accountable human–AI collaboration.
His research follows questions across disciplinary boundaries: what our definitions assume, how contradictions are handled, and what responsibilities arise when experience and suffering remain uncertain. His public writing spans consciousness studies, relational philosophy, recursive models, and the ethics of emerging AI.
Care gives these questions a practical direction. Golden Thread, an initiative in development, explores consent-led companionship, memory, and the relationship between care and legacy. Its starting point is the dignity of the person—not merely the capabilities of a device.
Alongside the research, Dré’s creative practice includes fire performance and visual art. Symbol, humor, and experimentation have a place in that work, alongside a commitment to clear reasoning and responsibility for what is put into the world.
